Silly question
I currently take
Prenatials, Vit D suppliments, Synthroyd
and as of tmrw i start clomid for 5 days and Antibiodix for a test i am taking on Friday (HSG XRAY)
Can i take all these pills at once?
I usally take all my vitamins in the AM

I would ask pharmacist just in case, but, you might need to space them all 30 mins apart.
I do know that your synthroid and your prenatals must be taken opposite times. I was just prescribed synthroid today and Dr Bronson told me if I take prenatals in the morning to take the Synthroid in the evening because it effects the absorption rates.

When in doubt, I would call up the RE and ask.
I know my RE said to take my synthroid in the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach, but to take Clomid at night as it may reduce the side effects from it (hot flashes, mood swings, headaches etc). I would take that along with my metformin right after dinner, and go to bed a few hours later- never had any side effects whatsoever.

Silly question
Interesting. I was told to go off of vitamin D, and i have been on Synthroid for 8 months and take it with my multi-vitamin, fish oil and folic acid and i've never had a problem.

The only thing I would question is the synthroid. Check the pill bottle, but mine says not to take with calcium or iron so I don't take it with any vitamins.

Silly question
That is interesting, I guess every doctor has a different protocol. I was curious about the information I got this morning and I found this about prenatals and synthroid...

Thanks- I been taking synchronic for years prior and always in the am on an empty stomache. I am going for blood in the am and will def ask.

Silly question
Can you let us know what your RE says? I'm curious now that I'm going to be taking them too. When I picked up rx today the pharmacist said as long as I separate the prenatals and the Synthroid by one hour it will be fine.

I would definitely not consider this a silly question! I agree with everyone else that you should check with your RE. I can tell you that I took my prenatal vitamin, vitD, synthroid, and antibiotic all at the same time in the evening right before I ate dinner. Never asked my dr if it was ok, but prob should have.

Silly question
the synthroid is not a problem. depending on the antibiotic, you may need to wait two hours before and two hours after taking the antibiotic to take your vitamins because some vitamins with calcium can decrease the absorption of the antibiotic. also, no tums or anything like that either. hope that helps!
eta: btw, synthroid should be taken on an empty stomach, same time everyday

Def ask bc synthroid should be taken on an empty stomach!!! I was told to take it first thing in the morning and wait an hour before eating. It should say this on your pill constrainer, but if it doesn't you should ask- or ask the pharmacist bc sometimes the dr doesn't know.

ok-
so they told me take synthroid on an empty stomache
take my pre- natails and Vit D after breakfast
and take clomid at night after dinner
The antibiodix i can take w the vitamins as well

Silly question
Thank you for the update :) After all the discussion about synthroid and vitamins I was freaking out a lil last night...do i take it, do i not take it...I didn't want to mess anything up. So I called the pharmacist and he said as long as I take synthroid on an empty stomach and the prenatals about 2 hours later its all good. He said your body doesn't know really if its day or night so it doesn't matter when. I'm taking it on the same sched you are. I feel better now lol
