When painting...

the rooms upstairs in a cape, do you keep the walls the same color as the slanted ceilings or do you paint the ceilings white?

Re: When painting...

I think it depend on the color you are using and the room's lighting. Upstairs, our bedroom is yellow so we painted the whole room including the ceiling yellow.

Downstairs our dining room is red and has catherdral ceilings. We painted the walls red and the ceilings white, so the room wouldn't be too dark.

Re: When painting...

The upstairs will be my son's room and his play room. There is one window in each room.

I'm still undecided on colors.

The slanted part and the ceiling should be white in my opinion.
