BD every other day, all month for a BFP?
new here and not quite at the point of TTC, but curious to get your feedback as i gather my BD/TTC intel....
does anyone avoid temping or using OPKs and just BD every other day the whole time you don't have AF (or even when you do have AF, if you're OK with that)? besides the time commitment  are there any reasons to not go about it this way in the beginning? like i said, i'm new here and not even TTC yet so what do i know? but this just seems like the best way to maximize the chance of getting a BFP each month

BD every other day, all month for a BFP?
I'm not 100% sure on this but I remember reading that it was not advisable because it doesn't allow much time to generate new sperm. If you're up for the challenge, you can definitely try!

I'm starting TTC this month, just finished AF, not planning to temp or use OPKs yet. My doctor advised me to BD every other day for the 10 days or so in the middle of my cycle, so basically from like CD 8 - CD 18, so for now that's my plan!

I did the "Deanna's plan" when trying. It worked both times (i have 2 kids) and i plan on doing the same exact thing this time as well. If you google it, it gives you a detailed description of when to

This is what my dr told me. Give a day in between somewhere lol

My gyn told me to bd every other day started the day after the last day of my period.

Worked.... If I'm out this month I'm doing this next cycle.

When I got my BFP, we BD every day for 2 weeks  So obviously the sperm was fine and didn't need more time to refuel

With my bfp we bd every other day from cd 10 so swimmer count wasn't an issue. If ur so doesn't have an issue every other day shouldn't be a problem. We didn't want to burn out either!

Unless you know there is an issue with DH's sperm count this is a great way to avoid needing to temp or use OPK's.
You just don't want to let it start to feel like a chore!
