Can I share something sweet that DH did today?

Ok, so my DH is not the thoughtful gift giver kind of guy and rarely gives me flowers for no reason. He's just not the romantic type.

So today he tells me out of nowhere that he's going to BIL's house to hang out for a bit. I got mad because I wanted to spend time together and I snapped at him for wanting to play video games over spending time with me! He said that he promised his brother he would come by and he told me he'll be back in about 2 hours.

Sure enough he was back a few hours later (I was in the bathroom when he got there) When I walked into the bedroom I saw a Pregnancy Journal, Baby Book, and "What to Expect When Expecting" spread out on the bed.

I was so surprised. It wasn't like he got me diamonds or anything, but I thought it was so sweet! I've been mentioning how I wanted "What to Expect" for a while now and I finally got it

That's so nice.....my hubby is so clueless but I can totally see him doing something like that also...the best is his excuse and you upset that's totally us... congrats!

that is so sweet! I bought DH funny daddy to be books figuring he wouldn't read anything serious, and he won't even read those! lol oh well, I signed him up for the weekly updates from Baby Center via email so he just reads those instead!! haha
