Internal at 36 weeks?
Did you/will you get an internal at 36 weeks? At my apt last week the doctor I saw said we can wait until 37 or 38 to start internals. This week I'm seeing a different doctor in the practice and I'm not sure if I should expect an internal or not. I hate to put all the effort forth shaving for no reason  . Just wondering what the norm is.

with my first pregnancy I think she started the internals at 37w. At 36w I had the group B strep test done.

My practice started internals at 37/38 weeks depending on which doctor we actually saw that week.

I did and I was dialated and sent to the hospital for my c section so it was my first and last. It wasnt bad though. Just like a regular exam.

i just had my 36 week appt this morning and only got the strep b test - no internal
my doctor said she wont do an internal til week 39 though

I got one at 36 weeks. I go for my appt tomorrow and don't know if I will get another one.

my doc starts at 36wks...luckily only had to have one since i'm a repeat CS no more internals for this lady!
