I forget, can I use Bounce Dryer Sheets on infant clothes?
I know I can't use Downy when washing my newborn's clothes (reduces the flame retardancy in the pajamas). But what about Bounce Dryer Sheets? Can I use those?
I just did my first load of laundry for the baby last night, and the blankets made everything all static-y.

They recommend avoiding fragrance at first, so I wouldn't use the dryer sheets for this reason.
It might be okay, you just won't know if your little one has sensitive skin or not.

That's true about the fragrance. I guess I'll skip it for now, and just check the blankets for stray socks!

No, I believe they also take out the flame resistance of some baby clothes.

I took a baby care class at the hospital n they said they have fragrance free dryer sheets. But they didn't mention a brand. I know my mom found fragrance free ones at CVS not sure what brand though

This is what I've always heard. I still don't even use them on DD's clothes and she's almost 2. I'd be interested to look into the Babyganics ones though!

I always used Bounce Fragrance Free dryer sheets from the get go. I HATE clothes loaded with static. The blankets were always the worse culprits.

I agree. It's not about the fragrance, its fabric softener in general that reduces flame resistance.
Personally though, I can't stand static, so I do use them.

From my understanding, there really aren't that many clothes that are flame resistant (at least I was told this). The reason is they found the chemicals to be dangerous.
