If you travel for work

I don't travel very often, but I do have to a few times a year. How was your first time away from your LO? I have a trip coming up in March that I'm beginning to get anxious about me being away from her for several days. DD will be 6 months at the time. I'm trying to convince DH to come on the following trip since I'll be in Orlando. I told him he could take DD to Sea World Chat Icon

I do not travel much (once before ) but since I had DS I have been away 3 times.

I go to Chicago and its only for 3 days. leave early tues and back by the time he is out of daycare on thursday. I make DH send me pics daily and I check in a few times.

My first trip since DS was when he wasn't even 12 weeks. It was easier for DH then because it is def harder now that DS is mobile and tryign to get out of the house in the am is tough.

I don't travel but DH does. He actually has to go to Boston the 21st and DS will only be 3 weeks old. He doesn't want to go. I think it's because DS is so young. I plan on skyping with DH so he can say goodnight to DS every night.

Re: If you travel for work

I missed my first bedtime on Weds when I was traveling in Baltimore. Chat Icon but DS was just as happy the next time I saw him. I have also just gone back to work so I am adjusting to see him MUCH MUCH less overall. It's really hard.

DH sends me pics when I am gone....I hate traveling for work.

I know it's going to suck. I am glad I don't do it as often as I did for previous jobs.

I will only be gone 2 full days away from DD. The day I leave I will see her in the morning and the day I get back I will be able to give her her last bottle and put her to bed.

First time DS was only 3 months old and it was for just 2 nights. I enjoyed the break but missed DS. He didn't "do" anything yet so I just had a few pics with me.
Last time was one night but now I'm divorced so adjusted to not seeing DS.
I have to go away next month for 2 nights, DS is 5.
