Where are you planning.............
I have 4 dogs and i keep thinking that maybe I should just put the LO on the crib right from the start. I am not concerned that they will purposely hurt the baby. I am more concerned with them knocking over the basinet or something like that. Where are you planning on having the baby sleep?

He'll be sleeping in a bassinet in our room at the beginning. Not sure where I'll have him nap yet, but we have a crib and a swing, too.

My DD slept in the cradle near our bed until 12 weeks old. We'll do the same with this baby.

i was thinking the same thing (but for other reasons) and i think in the end i plan on putting the LO in the crib in their room
We have a bassinet so that will be an option, but once DH goes back to work im going to feel awful if hes waking up while i sit there feeding and changing the baby in the middle of the night etc. plus the glider is in the nursery and so is the changing table so if im going to have to get out of bed anyway, may as well let DH sleep a little bit

Where are you planning.............
We decided to use the pack n play for he first couple of weeks in our room, then put her in the crib in our room until she gets adjusted, then move the crib into her room. Well, this is the plan lets see if it will even work out that way.

We are planning for the bassinet/cradle, but that mostly because we might not have a nursery by then!!! We are just starting the process of building a dormer!
