37-40+ weekers
just wondering if what I am feeling is normal and par for the course?
i am having braxton hicks continuously, maybe every 5-15minutes. Some days, more time between but they were very regular. Also period like cramps off and on, some back pain here and there.
does this sound like end stage stuff or maybe my body starting to gear up for labor?
i went late with my son and never went into labor, I don't even remember a single BH with him so this is vastly different for me.

Same thing here. 37 weeks. Last night I thought I was in labor. Was having contractions every 7 minutes with intense lower back pain. Lasted from 12am to 3am. Told my husband to get enough rest because thought this was it but I was a false alarm.
Went to my appointment today to see if I had progress from being 1 dialted but my doctor didn't do an internal.
We're almost there, so I think it's just the body prepping itself.
I'm schedule to be induced on Jan 30 if baby doesn't come out on her own.

Crashing - definitely sounds normal.
I was induced with my first as well and went into labor with my second and felt the same way as you did.
DS 1 was late - I was induced at 40w4d (it was the week of Christmas so they didn't make me wait until 41w). DS 2 was 13 days early.

I'm not quite that far yet (35w 4d) but it sounds like you're gearing up for labor to me, although I do think our bodies can get confusing towards the end. My OB told me to call them when I'm in labor at this point- which he added meant 8 or more contractions in an hour, lasting 2 or 3 hours straight and not going away with drinking water or moving around. That or my water breaks.

Sounds like you're getting ready! I'm having BH a lot through the day! I haven't had any period like cramps though! Best of luck!!

just had my 38w appt and i was having regular (small) contractions on the NST! Doc doesn't know that I will make it to 1/21 but that is my scheduled section date.
baby looked great, about 6lb6oz
