Implantation?
I've had 3 faint positive HPTs. AF is due within 48 hours. I'm having faint pink spotting and cramping. Is this common? I'm nervous because I have a prior MC under my belt.

Re: Implantation?
If you're getting bfps, youve already implanted, so thats not it. But spotting and slight cramping is extremely common early on. So common that I had it in all 3 of my pregnancies (one was a success but the spotting had nothing to do with the mcs). Every time id tell my RE, he would reassure me that its normal. That said, since you have had a mc id ask your doctor for betas for peace of mind. Congrats on your bfp!

Really? This is interesting - I thought it was once the egg was fertilized and the blast was forming that you could get a bfp. I thought implantation occurred 7-10 days after ovulation, and I got my bfp at 9dpo. I guess it wasn't implantation bleeding!
I can't believe I'm forgetting this stuff already. I'm totally going to be one of those people who needs a refresher on everything TTC related.
OP I guess you can disregard the implantation part of my prior post, I did have some sort of spotting after I got my BFP.

Implantation?
Well it isn't looking good. It's not a full flow, but it's getting slightly heavier and I'm cramping. I'm remaining hopeful. The first time I got pregnant the nurse at my OB's office laughed at me for calling since the day I got my BFP was the day AF was due. She made me feel stupid for calling and getting an appointment the same day - I didn't know I should have waited longer since "so much can happen" as she put it. This time around, I planned to wait a few more days before calling my OB. I don't think it would matter calling at this point.

Sounds like something my old drs office would do. Didn't need the attitude and wound up switching. The staff can be so insensitive.

THIS!!!
HCG only starts to get produced once the egg implants...and that is what triggers a positive hpt

Thats bullshi. What if you have low progesterone? Or something else Thats a relatively easy fix. Id ask to speak to the doctor if shes not letting u get a beta or id change doctors.

Implantation?
I hope that you are just among those that spotted during the beginning of their pregnancies.
As for the implantation is very well can be that. I agree with Bear. I got my BFP at 8DPO. A couple days later (after confirmed on a test from the OB) I started spotting and called the OB. She told me it can be implantation bleeding even though I already know I'm pregnant. They did say that if it got heavier to call them and they would run more blood work.
As for your doctor's office, I would call. You might need to go on special medication or be monitored closer. If the nurse laughs at you or makes any comments ask to speak to your doctor directly and tell them what is going on. Staff should NEVER treat patients so cruelly!
