How many days/nights for Philly?
DH and I would like to go on a trip to Philly. Of course, we know we can't see EVERYTHING...but how many days/nights do you think we'd need to get in a lot?
When we go on vacation, we're usually able to fit a lot into one day.

You can do a lot in a weekend, but there's also a lot in the surrounding areas. it depends on what you want to accomplish

Philly is pretty small. You could do a lot in a weekend. I personally would not take off work for a trip to Philly. Fri-Sun should be sufficient.
