Recommend your bagless/canister vacuum please
Our Dyson just died, and we need to replace it. Looking to spend $400 or less. Floors are tile and carpet. We have a cat so it needs to be able to suck up about 1 lb of cat hair a day  TIA!

My Dad and cousin have the Shark Navigator Lift Away Pro and they love it!
They both have shedding animals and said this works great on the pet hair. I have the Dyson Purple Ball but plan on getting this for my upstairs once the renovations are done.

I have this one too, and I love it. It's very light weight compared to most other vacuums.

I don't know about cat hair, but we got the Electrolux Nimble and it does a good job for us.

I have The Shark Pro and LOVE it!! I also have a 80 LB bulldog and it hasn't clogged once in 2 years.
