Re: gender surprise
I want to find out really bad. I found out with DD and it was the most amazing time of my life, decorating her room, buying clothes etc. I am not going to find out this time because DH really wants to be surprised. I know I will be glad in the end esp since I will have a scheduled c-section so there is no real suprise on when the baby will be born, unless he/she comes early. I don't like the yellow/white/green so much either. But for my friend I bought some pink and some blue clothes for her shower and just gave all gift reciepts so she could return whichever she didn't need ;)

Re: gender surprise
We're struggling with this right now...I was team green with my first two and it was the best thing I could have imagined...we were totally surprised with both! This time, my husband really wants to know! I am almost ready to cave, but only if we find out in a special way...I know that either way it is special, but I loved finding out after all the hard work of actually having that baby!

Re: gender surprise
I don't think you will regret either way.
By knowing the gender I felt I was able to bond with DD. One way was calling her by her name.
By being surprised, your anticipation builds until you finally deliver. There are few great surprises left.
I think whatever you decide you will be happy about! Good luck with your choice and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy and delivery!

Re: gender surprise
We are staying team My SIL brought up a good pt. when she was pregnant with her first - she said if you plan on having a 2nd child within a few years having gender neutral stuff will go a long way. If your first is a girl, then everyone will buy tons of girly stuff that you won't be able to use if your second is a boy.

in my opinion... pink/blue clothes can wait.
if youre up for waiting...try to.
i plan to not find out because i want that surprise too.
BEST SURPRISE EVER! We did it both times with our 2 pregnancies. Will be team green for our 3rd one too.
Same here. Finding out in the delivery room is amazing. I wouldn't do it any other way.
