2 1/2 yr old crying bc she doesn't wanna poop in her diaper....

And we started to try potty training the past two days more so today than yesterday with no diapers and new bug girl underwear instead and she had two pee accidents no pee in the potty and she has yet to poop at all...it's like she is holding it in....like she doesn't wanna do it in the diaper and for now doesn't wanna do it in the potty anyone experience this before?

YES. My DS did the same thing and held it for almost 2 days. I told him to tell me why he was holding and he was able t tell me. He was thinking we would be mad if he did it in the diaper and not in the potty. And he was scared to do number 2 in the potty. We reassured him we would not get mad. He never had issues with number 1 and in fact we potty trained in a weekend. I remember we let him go in the diaper and then changed him. After that he only did it in the potty.

Try half a children's suppository, put her in underware and watch her like a hawk. When she starts toove her bowels, rush her to the potty , let her poop on the potty and go crazy with praise and rewards. Then fill her up with fiber and water to make sure she is naturally forced to poop. We had to do this with our DD for a little while but once she was successful at pooping on the potty a few times, she was ok with it and will now go without any problems.

We used to throw a cheerio in the toilet and tell my nephew to see if he can poop on it. Gross , I know, but we were trying to get him used to pooping on the toilet, not in his underwear. Maybe she would think that's funny and it would motivate her?

I also used to read to my DD or neices and nephew while they were sitting on the toilet just to help relax them and hopefully get them to poop
