small weight gain

I'm 19 weeks preggo and only gained about 7 pounds (not that I'm complaining) but I'm starting to worry that I should weigh more. Does any1 know if this is normal?

That's completely normal. At 30 weeks with dd I was up 4 lbs. I ended up gaining about 20 total and she was born at 8 lbs.

My doctor had said since I started at an average weight I should only expect to gain around 10lbs in the first 20 weeks and then only up to a pound a week after that. So you're good!!!

Re: small weight gain

as long as the baby is growing the way he/she should be, i wouldnt worry. I gained 16 pounds total throughout my entire pg and my dr was not concerned because the baby measured correctly and my weight gain was consistant. i am average to begin with

It's normal, especially if your dr hasn't said anything. It also depends on where your weight started pre-pregnancy. Your body will gain what it has to gain - just make sure you do your part to eat healthy foods and continue exercising.
