Help! How do I get my toddler to take/swallow his meds?!

Help! How do I get my toddler to take/swallow his meds?!
My toddler was always good about taking his medicine until recently. Now all he does is spit it back out!! I always flavor the meds and tried putting the syringe further back into his mouth but nothing be working! Help!

My two toddlers are the same way so I still put their meds in a small amt of milk or juice.

A medicine cup worked with my girls. I would put the medicine in the syringe then put it in the cup. If they spit it then it would only go into the cup. But they never really spit it out. It was just easier. I am not a fan of hiding it in a drink or food only bc mine wouldn't finish it then you don't know how much they got. When the were smaller they did better when I had the suck on the syringe rather than squirting it in their mouth.

Did you try putting the meds in the fridge? That works for ds.
