Should I be worried?!

So for the past few days I have been dropping things like crazy. Like things just slipping out of my hands. Today i dropped so many things its not even funny. My family thought it was funny. It actually worried me. Maybe I'm just super tired? My ankles have been swelling when I'm on my feet for a while. I'm only 24 weeks. Something I should mention to my OB?

Should I be worried?!

Couldn't hurt to mention to your Ob. Sure you are fine but better safe then sorry.

Re: Should I be worried?!

If it is concerning you mention it to your doctor but don't let it stress you it is probably nothing.

I would just mention it to your doctor. It can't hurt. I always mention small things to my doctor just to be sure and he has never been concerned.

Actually, it's totally normal. Around now your body is producing hormones that will start to loosen your joints - all of them. Fingers are included! Your body is preparing for labor, and to do this, your hip joints need to loosen up. You might also notice you'll start getting hip pains or even pains in your fingers, jaw, knees, etc.

I went through this recently and in the past with my last two pregnancies. Frustrating but normal in my case. I'm 27 weeks with my third.

Same here. I am 32 weeks and I feel like a stranger in my own body. I am constantly dropping things and finding that I am much less coordinated than I usually am. It's pretty normal but like other girls have said, if you are concerned talk with your doctor.

Should I be worried?!

It's probably fine -- you lose control of your reflexes -- for some women it's worse than others. It wouldn't hurt to mention to your doctor. I'm almost 36 weeks and I've literally put things down in mid air -- like I've thought there was a table there and just dropped something on the floor. I just tell myself it's the baby making me special!

Re: Should I be worried?!

For the most part I'd say normal. Some swelling is normal and as for dropping stuff I'd say pregnancy brain (which later develops into mommy brain).

If you are really concerned I'd check in with your OB. Hope you and LO are ok!

this is me... Dropping things in mid air and it doesn't click I'm not placing say a open bottle of soda on the table but placing it in mid air lol so happy to hear this is normal. I didn't have this my 1st pregnancy. I will def mention this to my OB at my next appt just to be safe. As always thanks for your help ladies
