intense lower back pain
Lately my back has been hurting so bad that I can barely sleep. I'm only 18weeks so my bump is small and I haven't gained any weight yet. I'm wondering if this is normal or if its unrelated and I should be concerned. Sometimes its almost in my butt and travels all the way down my leg. My left leg falls asleep if I sit too long!!! Anything I can do?

Sounds like sciatica. The only thing that helped me with it when I was pregnant with my first was going to the chiropractor and applying heat (my ob ok'ed both). I got lucky and it was related to my DD's position because it only lasted a few weeks and after she moved I never felt it again.

i had something similar (not sure how far along i was though)....it had to do with the babys position. everything inside you is shifting and if something hits that sciatic nerve it makes you very uncomfortable. hopefully baby moves soon and alleviates the pain. dont think there is a need to call the dr for it, but i would mention it at your next appt to see if they have any recommendations on how to help

Urinary Tract Infection... lots of people have completely different symptoms than normal.
