Good 1st Book To Buy?
Hi everyone! I just got my 1st BFP today and hoping it sticks I was curious if you could suggest a book for me to buy as a possible newbie mommy

I would totally recommend The Happiest Baby on the Block (book or DVD) and Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child. They helped me sooo much. My DD was very colicy, extremely fussy and had reflux. Those books saved me! I wish I would have read them just before I had her instead of waiting until after she was born.

What to Expect When You're Expecting, hands down. It will explain what's happening to your body and your baby week by week, walks you through labor and also discusses symptoms, what's normal and when to call the dr.

Ditto! Loved this book, it was my pregnancy bible the first time around. I used to constantly grab it to look things up and really enjoyed reading it as I went along.

Thank you so much everyone!!! I think Im going to try What To Expect When You're Expecting
Im so nervous... its crazy... I used to be on liweddings years ago and have been on here for years. Ive always stalked the TTC board and Pregnancy Board hoping it would be me one day to be on the Pregnancy board and now that its finally here, it just seems so surreal.... I feel like omg is this really happening??? I look forward to getting to know everyone

Oh yes, I agree with Baby Bargains, too, but you won't need that until your 2nd trimester when you start to register for things.
