Feeling tired, sluggish and slightly nauseous the week of starting prenatals?
Has anyone had this? My obgyn prescribed me prenatals last week (vita flo I think?) and basically for the last week since starting them I have been overtired, low energy and occasionally nauseous/lightheaded. I know they sound like pregnancy symptoms but we haven't really started officially trying yet so I don't think that's it!
Anyone had something like this happen?

Yes. Taking any type of "multivitamin" can cause nausea and fatigue because your body isn't used to the amount of nutrients its getting. Happens to me specifically when I took Vitamin A. Some brands are better than others; I used to be a nutritionist for a vitamin company, and we heard this reaction most often as a result of starting multis.

OMG THANK YOU!!!!!!! I've been wondering ALL week wtf is wrong with me! I usually work out 6 days/week and have loads of energy and this week I can't get through a work out and I fell asleep on the couch at 8pm.
Thank you!!!

I use Rainbow prenatals which are over the counter and they are very easy on the body. I'm usually very sensitive to multi's and these are great.
