Summer Infant Monitor...
Ugh my monitor just cr@pped out!
First the picture stretched, then it just went all white, not the sound is gone too. Done. All this occured over the course of 24 hours. Not even 15 mos use. I'm so p!ssed.
Should I contact the company? Or am I SOL because it's been more than a year? We had no extra warranty.
Anyone recommend another monitor???

I officially hate Summer Infant! I've gone through two monitors from them and both crapped out! The first time they replaced it, I said it was a gift and I had no receipt, the second time I had a receipt and got burned because it was over a year..... Check out the Motorola, I've heard good things. My friend just got one and she said so far they really like it.

I agree, I'm on my second monitor by Summer & just the other day i turned it on to ind a line across the screen. The monitor is only 13 months old. I had the same issue your having with my first & when I contacted them about it (over a year) they offered me my current monitor at discounted price it still well over $200. When this one craps out, I'm looking into another product. I will not buy summer again.

Summer Infant Monitor...
I would call them. Their customer service is fantastic. While they can't replace it for you since the warranty is up, they will give you a discount on a replacement. HTH!
