Koalas or Owls!!!!! Updated with pics/ideas!
I cant decide.. we are not finding out so not sure what to do.. have 2 ideas for boy and girl and wait til after baby born to decorate.. or do gender neutral before baby born.. but either way koalas or Owls? TIA!

i decided to do gender neutral before the baby was born...wasnt sure i would want the hassle of not only setting it up, but purchasing it once the baby arrives
owl & koala are both cute...but i think koala is more unique so i would go with that
we picked our theme by finding the bedding we like most...is there one bed set you favor more?

I am doing Owls...but I htink if I saw these adorable little Koalas before I made that decision, I would have done Koalas.....SOOO CUTE!!

my vote is still for the koalas after seeing the pics.
we did monkeys for our nursery - totally gender neutral. but we decided that if its a girl to make it more feminine we would order some small pink bow or flower decals to put on the monkeys heads and also order the baby name in pink letters (from etsy).
these are not the monkeys we ordered, but just to get an idea...

i really like the Koalas - and if your not finding out and want to decorate before hand, go with the gender neutral koalas.
however, i think the last pic with the owls and koalas together is adorable and might just go with that altogether!

If you are not finding out then that gender neutral theme is gorgeous! I love the colors and the giraffe there as well as the owl and koala...

I love koalas! Also, to answer your question about setting up the nursery, I would wait until after baby was born to decorate. But that's just my personal opinion. I'm super girly, so would want the room to be in line with that for a girl and the opposite for a boy.

Im in a similar boat to you as we are not finding out and im doing the nursery in owls...im going to put the tree up and then add the flowers to it if its a girl....and i decided to buy more gender neutral brownish owls inside of the pink or blue ones...i will prolly add some once the baby is born
