2 year birthday party- wwyd?
I am trying to figure out what to do for my DD's 2 year birthday in Jan (I'm late I know lol) I don't want to do anything big. We had some friends at our house for her 1st birthday and it was nice and low key
So, we only have about 8 or 9 kids to invite. I also want to invite our friends that don't have kids, but I feel they would be bored if we had the party at let's say a children's museum or gym place. But, I also feel like since we don't have that many kids too invite, maybe we could do a restaurant? I don't know I am so confused lol. I know it really only matters what would make DD happy, but she's 2 so she really won't know the difference where she is getting cake, presents, etc,

I think another low key at home party would work for you guys.
I don't know how your 2yo is but my almost 2yo is terrible at restaurants. We usually try to rush out because of him. We are having his 2nd birthday party at My Gym. Almost 2yo LOVES that place. I thought it was age appropriate for him.
When we lived in NYC, we had DS#1's 2nd birthday party at Moon Soup. The 2 year olds had a blast. We invited a few of our non-parent friends. They came over to our apartment to hang out afterwards.

I didn't have a kid party at 2. DS just didn't know any better.
Your friends will definitely not have a good time at a kid gym.
Either have a party at your home, or at a gym or kid party place (without those friends).

Thanks, ladies. I think I am either going to have a party at the house with everyone OR do a kids party and then have my friends over.

i am having DD bday at a place but its because i got a groupon for half off. I only plan on inviting people who have kids that can enjoy it cause the place is really small
DD bday is on New Years day so i wil have cake than and invite anyone who doesnt have kids leaving it very casual if they want to come if not no big deal.
If i didnt ahve a groupon i would think i probably do something at the house cause like you last year i kept it very low key
