got our NT results AND found out we are having .
a girl!! I was totally not expecting to find out but we also had a separate blood test done to test for Down's and they just started to be able to tell the sex from it!
I was so shocked to know so early but am so excited. I would have been happy either way since the best news was that all the tests looked healthy so far but it's so fun to know!

Congrats!! I had the same test results earlier this week and it is such a relief. They also know the sex of baby but we are finding out at a gender reveal party in a few weeks. So hard for me to wait knowing someone was looking at the results as they were talking to me!! Enjoy thinking about yourhealthy little girl!!

Oh this is so fun! I didn't even think about anything bc I wasn't expecting to know so they just asked me on the phone and I panicked and said YES! enjoy!!

I have my NT scan next week and I am totally asking about this test!!! lol Is it the routine one with the scan or a different one?

It's an extra blood test that tests for downs and trisomy, and they can also tell if the y chromosome is present. Most insurances cover a good option of it. Dr said max I would be charged is about $200-250. Insurance should cover for me because I'm 35, so at increased risk.

Yep...maternti 21. They can do it beginning at 10 weeks. Takes about a week to get the results.

yup this! I think it's also called Harmony. .I had mine covered too bc I am also an old lady! I think insurance only covers it if you are older or at risk for some reason

I hope so too! they didn't give me any guess at NT though I have heard people who did! Have fun either way!!
