Re: feeling the baby

I think I just felt it for the first time last night! I am almost 18 weeks and can't be sure it was the baby or just gas lol

Re: feeling the baby

I have an anterior placenta, so while I felt her a few times around 18/19 weeks, didn't feel consistent movement until 23/24 weeks

feeling the baby

I felt the baby for the first time at around 17-18 weeks. It wasn't until 21-22 weeks that baby started himself on a schedule... now in my early 30's I feel the baby randomly throughout the day. All elbow jabs and feet Chat Icon

Re: feeling the baby

I am almost 25 weeks and just started feeling the baby kick. Apparently, I have an anterior placenta, so that's what he's been kicking. It's strange that I am having a different pregnancy experience then most women, but at least his kicks aren't painful.

i too have an anterior placenta. it makes me sad that i don't feel kicks the way other women do, although i still feel thebaby moving constantly.
What makes me sad the most is that DH doesn't get to feel the baby move at all Chat Icon

I sstarted feeling like a flutter/bubbly feeling around 19 weeks and then consistent movement around 21 weeks. now at 32 weeks its all the time - randomly throughout the day

Same thing here but once my belly grew more the last 2 months of pregnancy, the placenta took up a smaller percentage of my belly, so dh could feel,it more! Hang in there!

Re: feeling the baby

I felt little "bubbles" around 15-16 weeks, although it could have been gas. Then I felt more of a thumping inside at 18 weeks and have been feeling it stronger and stronger since. So it could be the baby that you felt!!! Chat Icon
