If you did it through a company, did you save what they anticipated that you would?

Another tax grievance Q
We weren't given an expected figure. But we used Mark Lewis and saved about $1200.
We had so much going on I knew I wouldn't have time to do it, so any $$ saved was good to me!!

Another tax grievance Q
I'm still waiting to see IF we save anything. We are using Mark Lewis and didn't get an expected figure either. I'm hoping we save something, anything really.

I have never heard of a tax grievance company saying they expect to save you xxx dollars. There is no way for them to predict that because they have no idea what the tax rate will be for the year in question and where your assessment will exactly fall.

Thanks all. We're looking at houses (well now down to one house in particular) and many houses on the market are being grieved and the real estate info states what they expect the reduction to be.
