Sad after vacation over
Just got back from 7 wonderful days in PR and sad to be back. 24hrs ago I was swimming in clear blue water and now its freezing. We are already planning a trip to Turks and Caicos for next Nov but every time I come home from a fun trip it's sad. 7 days flies by on vaca but drags during real life.
Anyone feel this way?

Just back here as well and thank heaven we leave for the New Fantasyland Grand Opening in 9 days so I have something to look forward to now.

Yes!!!
We came back from vacation and the hurricane was a few days later so I didn't have time to get the blues. I'm definitely itching to plan my next trips though. Disneyland, ho! I am California Dreamin!

Yes, I definitely always get the post vacation blues! It's the worst on a cruise when you're being cattled off the ship and you see the newbs all giddy and ready to start their vacation

Yes this!!!! its the worst, ITA!!
We are going on a cruise next week plus before and after land vacation total 16 days away, hopefully we won't have the blues when we get back

i always get sad after big vacations. and big events (like my wedding, which took me 1.5 years to move on from!)

Sad after vacation over
After my honeymoon, I was so sad. It was December and about 20 degrees in NY. Meanwhile it was in the 80's and sunny in every port we went to and in the 70's in Florida where we were before and after the 9 day cruise. We were gone for 13 days and I was miserable for days after we got home.

They've done studies and people are happiest during the weeks leading up to the vacation. The planning and anticipation. ONce people come home to a huge workload, they're usually no happier than they were before.
That's why I am just always planning my next tripo

Always. We usually end up talking about where we're going next the last couple of days of vacation. It's a horrible feeling that last day. I don't get people who say vacations are too long etc!! LOL
