Well, it looks like I'll be back on this board...
Started bleeding today, so it looks like I'm having another chemical. I had my first chemical in June.
I went to the dr today and had blood drawn for a beta and will have another Friday. But this is exactly like my last chemical so I'm not at all optimistic.
This has really ruined my Thanksgiving. I'm hosting tomorrow and I'm trying so hard to be thankful for all the wonderful things I do have, including my DS, but it's just hard right now.
Not sure when I'll be back. I'm not sure I can go through all of this again.

I'm totally crashing, but I went through two chemicals too. I know how devastating it all is, I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

i am so sorry to hear this! Have you considered seeing a specialist to have some bloodwork drawn up to see if there is a reason why this has happened twice already?

Thanks moonmist. I was just asking about that on the TTC after miscarriage board. I haven't gotten the results of the 2 betas yet (though I know what the answer will be), so once I hear from my dr about that I will ask her if she thinks I need to find a specialist.
I do already have one DS, so things have worked for me in the past...

Why are they taking so long with your betas?? Shouldn't they usually be in the day after the bloodwork?? So sorry you're going through this..

I would love to know what took so long! I called earlier today and they were finally able to tell me that everything was "negative". So I guess that confirms a chemical.
I asked a few questions about follow up and next steps and the receptionist or nurse, I'm not sure which, was totally unhelpful. She said she'll have the dr call me, but I'm not too optimistic that will happen w/o me calling again.
So I may also be looking for a new ob/gyn at this point. If anyone has a good one in the Huntington area, that delivers at Huntington, please let me know!
