Flu shot 1st trimester
I just one yesterday. I'm around 8 weeks. I decided to do it because I'm a teacher around many young children. I read that the flu can be very dangerous for pregnant women. However, I just wished I was further along. The dr told me it's perfectly fine and that they're giving them out like candy in their office. It is the thermisol and preservative free. Did anyone else decide to get one so early on or if you didn't, what was your decision based on? Thanks.

I just got one yesterday at my Dr Office (7wks6d).
I opted not to get one and the Dr told me all the risks with being pregnant and so on. She convinced me and they gave it to me there. I asked if it was the thermisol free one and she said yes.
I think if there was a concern then they wouldn't give them to us. I wouldn't worry.

I got mine at my first OB appt, 6w5d. No problems at all!!

I got mine at my 7 week appointment, the one you said, and it was fine.
