Talk me off the ledge
So I'm totally confused this month! Based on my last few cycles AF is due today. I've been taking hpts for a few days bc I've been having every symptom in the book and totally neg. My temp is still high so I'm thinking I'm not out yet right?!? With my DD I got a + a day before AF was due so this is diff for me. Shouldn't I be getting at least a faint + by now?!? Thanks for your help :)

Re: Talk me off the ledge
Well, if you ovulated a few days late you could be less dpo then you think you are, so it might be too early for tests.
You're never out until AF shows! Good luck!

Yea that's what I'm thinking too but if it's too early for tests, wouldn't it be too early for "symptoms"?? That's what's getting me all screwed up...
With DD we were VERY lucky and get pregnant on the first try. This is our 3rd month for #2 and I swear I'm LOSING MY MIND!!!!!!!

I was having symptoms really early...probably for about 5 days before I got my BFP. Your levels need to be a certain number before they come up on a test, it doesn't need to be a certain number for symptoms.
Good luck!

Not necessarily true. Most HPTs will pick up hcg at 50 or even lower, if they are extra sensitive. Symptoms usually don't start until a few weeks after a BFP since your hormone levels are still so low, and they are what triggers symptoms.

This.
I tested + at 10dpo, luteal phase was usually 12-14 days. I didn't feel pregnant symptoms (sore boobs, nausea etc) until I was at 7 weeks. When you test + you are considered 4 weeks. Good Luck!
