Anyone keep losing weight instead of gaining?

I am 20 weeks pregnant and havent gained any weight but am probably about 10lbs lighter then my pre-pregnancy weight. I am a lil overweight due to my severe hormone imbalance from PCOS and take metformin for it. My last 2 pregnancies I gained about 25lbs in pregnancy and by my 6 week PP checkup I was 15lbs lighter then my pre-pregnancy weight and am able to maintain while nursing but as soon as i stop i go back to my normal weight. I always joke that the only way i can lose weight is by getting pregnantChat Icon I dont even get MS or puke during pregnancy so thats not the issue . I have never actually lost weight during the pregnancies with my other kids so I was a lil shock why i am now. I have not eaten any differently except for forcing myself to eat fruit which I typically dont eat . As long as the baby is in a good size range then I guess it's nothing to worry about. Anyone else with hormonal imbalance issues causing weight gain prior to pregnancy tend to lose weight in pregnancy?

I did in the beginning but that was because of MS. Once I started feeling better weight slowing came in. I'll be 33 weeks on Tuesday and I have gained 20lbs.

i am just not really gaining (3lbs at 30+ weeks) but I was not thin to begin with. As long as the baby is growing, nothing to worry about Chat Icon

Anyone keep losing weight instead of gaining?

2 weeks ago at my appt I was exactly the same weight I was pre pregnancy and am currently 31w2d. I was 15/20 pounds overweight to begin with though. As long as you are eating healthy, taking your vitamins and the baby is growing you're good!!

I lost in the first trimester and didn't start gaining until around 20 weeks. I'm 28w now and up about 10 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. As long as the baby is fine and the dr didn't say anything, I don't think you should worry. As you get farther along, the baby starts gaining weight which might help you to gain weight (and also might make you more hungry).
