signing a contract!!!
we found a house, put in an offer and did an house inspection...and we're signing the contract the lawyer tomw...YIKES!!!! is there anything i should be aware of? so nervous....what do to...ask...

SO EXCITING!!! Congrats! Go through the contract with your lawyer and ask them to call out anythings to look out for. Otherwise, you're good to go!

make sure your taxes are correct.
i found out the day before i closed my taxes were a $1000 more than what was listed on the listin.
i was pretty pissed cause at that point i felt like i couldnt do anything about it cause we had to close or are morgatge rate was expiring.

i found out the day before i closed my taxes were a $1000 more than what was listed on the listin.
i was pretty pissed cause at that point i felt like i couldnt do anything about it cause we had to close or are morgatge rate was expiring.
how do you make sure the taxes are supposed to be what they are...all i know is the amount on the flyer

signing a contract!!!
Make sure anything the seller are leaving (appliances, blinds, light fixtures, etc.) are listed in your contract. Same goes for things they plan to take with them.

sorry just saw this now .. i was told that my lawyer should have let me know who knows if thats true or not ... but if the house your are getting is in nassau you can use this website click here
for suffolk you have to call the town for the info.
