pest control help - wasps/bees in house

We are finding dead bees or wasps in our house

However, the occasional live one flies by and crashes into a window or sliding glass door. We don't know where they are coming from but they are huge and very, very lively and feisty. Anyone ever deal with this issue? Any pest control or exterminator recs in the Hauppauge/Smithtown area?

We use Scientific Exterminating in St. James. They have been really great to work with and you have the option of getting an annual contract with them which would cover bees, wasps, ants, rodents, etc. A termite policy would be separate.

I'm on the Smithtown/Hauppauge border and they come here, so they should come to you as well.

My mom has used them in the past as well and has been happy with their services.

Hey. If you are finding them now in November it is likely yellow jackets which are the most aggressive kind. We had a big issue over the summer with paper wasps building nests in our gutters then getting into our ceilings through there then entering our home through our high hat lights. We used arrow exterminating and they solved the problem by spraying and removing the nests. However you are going to have to try to follow them or see where they are coming from to try to find the nest. But call them ASAP because yellow jackets are aggressive and they are the only ones who would be around in the fall/nov from what I have learned.

We signed a monthly contract with Arrow when mice got into our garage & crawl space, they are awesome. They come right away if we are having an issue outside of the usual monthly treatment. They recently came on their own to set new traps in our garage & crawl in case mice get back in since they knew we were in a flood zone.

I used terminix for wasps and crickets and they were successful!
