AJ's Alpha Projects : I is for Inca Indians craft

This was fun!

I was going to just do indians then I kept thinking what else starts with I and goes with Indians.. hrm... are there any "I" Indians? Well yes there is.

So I looked up photos... she picked two. Then I cut out all the shapes and she put them together. The collars and patterns were her choice. Technically I wanted the dress thing to be the girl and the other side (two parts) to be a boy but hey, its hers. We put bracelets on the girl with some leftover scraps.

She loved the 'hair' and the feathers of course SHE picked. I took a fake flower and pulled it apart. It comes in 'sheets' with the 'petals' all on the outside but solid in the middle so Just folded it in half for the 'feather look' then she stuck her own feathers inside the middle. She wanted the guy to have feathers too. LOL

Because we got so wrapped up in paper doll type fun, I decided we should put the photos on the project as our 'inspiration'.
