When did you start making a list of names

I don't remember with my other guys, but this one, I know I am only 6 weeks, but usually I am on top of this stuff and I just have no desire to even look at names!

We never did. We had a boy name that we both liked, and once we found out we were having a boy, we didn't have to think much further.

I think was I was 13 years old

We had a list pretty early on but didn't seriously start discussing until around 12 weeks... not that we have 100% agreed on anything...

I always had a list of some sort, I just can't get into it this time, i don't know if it's because I am just so tired, or I want to see what the baby is, I have nothing!!! I have one name that I wanted to use either way, but the hubby isn't feeling it and I am not sure I love it now that there is an actual baby.

We started working on a list as soon as we found out the gender, so that we could keep it to one sex!

Girl name was discussed from after we got over the initial excitement of our BFP to me being 4 months pregnant (I kept changing my mind!). Boys names were easy. DS is named after DH, the next one (if we have another boy) will be after my grandfather.

We are and I am 30 weeks today. We still don't have a boy name!! We also haven't decided 100% if we are keeping our girl name from when I was pregnant with DS, but I think we are.

DD's name I loved for years, even before I knew DH. Luckily he liked it too, so her name was set by like 6 weeks. Now with #2 it's been much more difficult. We are pretty sure we have a girl's name (we're team green) but we keep going around with the boy's name. I have a few that I would use if it were just up to me but DH doesn't like them. I'm 27 weeks and we don't have an official boy's name.

We already had a girl name picked out before we were even trying to get pregnant. We loved the name Emma and I loved the name Kate. If we had a girl her name would be Emma Kate.

The boy name was tricky. I really really wanted Andrew Ryan. My husband is Michael John II and he really wanted the baby to be the III. We actually fought about it a few times and then never discussed names again until we found out what we were having. Of course, we are having a boy. DH knew it was a sensitive topic for me and didn't mention names again until 2 weeks after we found out. I really really did not want a III, but it meant more to him to have the III than it did to me not to have it. I caved, but under a few conditions. Everyone in my family and DH's family calls DH Mike so I would like the baby to be called Michael or Mikey. 2nd condition...DH has ZERO naming rights on the next baby. Not like that really matters because if it's a girl it's Emma Kate and he likes that and if it's a baby it's Andrew Ryan and he likes that too.

I am that person that goes to the hospital with a list and doesn't name the baby until he/she is like 2 days old..

For my whole pregnancy with my son, they told me I was having a girl, so I had a girls name picked out, I had a boys name that I liked, but it just didn't fit him, so he wasn't named for a day or two.

My daughter I had a short list of names, I knew which one I was leaning more towards, but I wanted to see her before I made it official, so it took a day or two to get that plus have my husband agree.

I wanted and H name, but it's so hard to find one that I like

i have had an ongoing list on my phone for months before getting pregnant. DH and i decided we wont actually decide on a name until we see the baby. we are team green.

I waited until I found out the gender.

ETA: with DD DH had the name since we were dating

I had one name 17 yrs ago before I met DH. We started talking about names when TTC but still didn't decide on the second name until after they were born. (like the next am)

we never really had a list. We talked about names before we were even pregnant and knew already what our boys name would be. When I got pregnant, I mentioned 2 names that I liked and DH likd them also so we flip flopped between the 2 and finally decided on one, but never had a list.

We started talking about names as soon as we decided to start trying. I have been in love with 3 names since I was 15/16 and I brought them up -- 2 boys names and a girl name. DH was on board with all three and we came up with 1 girl name (Lucy) together. We're having a boy and so we're using one of the names I loved. He sometimes brings up other names if we have more kids, but we're set on this one!

Our girl name we settled on before we said I do but we changed the middle name to one dh loves boy we have 2 choices not sure which we are going with if we find out we are having a boy he will be named when he is born.
