Nausea and Constipation...who can help?

Sorry I've been MIA lately. I haven't felt like cr*p (pun intended). I am so nauseous and so constipated it's killing me!!!

My nausea isn't every day but when it comes, it stays all day. I tried EVERYTHING. I was in the ER on Saturday and they told me to start taking zofran (4mg) and pepcid. My doctor had to increase the zofram (8mg) and pepcid.

The zofran seems to have worked but the constipation just won't go away. I've tried prunes, apple juice, apples, tons of water, stool softeners, laxatives (the side effects are what put me in the hospital - I'm only 7w tomorrow so I can still take them). DR told me to try meralax. I'm going to start it soon but was wondering if anyone else has anything that helps them. Gas is becoming a problem too (as in stuck inside too).

Any help with any of these things would be GREAT! I feel like I've tried everything and it just isn't helping. I'm going to order the ginger gum now for the times between the zofran that I can't take the pill and still nauseous.

If the Doctor told you miralax was ok go with it. I have very bad IBS and when I was not pregnant, I was taking it everyday..... it made my life so much better.

But FYI... it does not work instantly. Do a dose a day and in a couple days it will start working... if you take it everyday, it will make you "regular". That stuff is amazing!

I took my first dose today. I'm thinking of taking it through the weekend and seeing how that goes. Here's hoping because this all sucks!

Zofran is mostly for throwing up. If you don't start to feel better on it ask for reglen. Helps with the nausea

Thank you so much!!! I was throwing up. Nausea throughout the day and then after I ate I would most likely throw up.

The zofran seems to be working. It's the kind that dissolves on your tongue. It lasts for about 4 hours and I can only take it every 8 but I just started so I'm hoping it's only because I need to get regular with it.
