EP/BF Moms and Transitioning to Milk

I am starting to think about transitioning DD from BM (I exclusively pump) to regular milk. She is almost 11 months old and her next doctors appointment is a week after she turns 1. I dont know how long it will take to complete the transition but I dont want to wait until after her doctors appt to start. (I am sooo done with pumping!! and want to start cutting down asap)

When and how did you start to transition? how long did it take to get your DC fully weaned off of BM?

Transitioned at 11 months. She took 6oz cups of BM, so I changed it to 4oz BM, 2oz milk, the 3 and 3, then 2oz BM and 4oz milk, then just milk. It took about 10 days - 2 weeks.

I initially gave her a whole cup of milk, and she drank it, but very slowly and almost uncomfortably so then I started mixing.
