What should I do now
I had a bad yeast infection and possible bladder infection. My dr prescribed me the 3 day cream suppositories for the yeast but wanted to wait for labs to get back for the bladder infection before he gave me an antibiotic because I am in my 2ww.
Anyway. 2 nights ago I finished the cream but I still have symptoms of a yeast infection. My dr is closed for the weekend and who knows about mon and tues with this storm. Also I was supposed to get my lab results fri. I called and they said they werent in yet and would call me when tthey came in. They never called and now I can be having a bladder infection for a week with no meda. Im pissed.
Do you think I can go to cvs and get an otc 3 day cream like a monistat?

Re: What should I do now
Honestly you should definitely follow up with the bladder infection because you don't want that to travel and get worse I can't believe the office never called you back that's terrible. I would go see someone else. Idk where you live but I know on 112 in port Jeff there's a walk in clinic I think it's called urgent care they are open even on weekends Saturday and Sunday you could even google to find one closer to you there are a few locations. I would go and ask them if it's ok for Monistat and have them treat your bladder infection. Even if you are pregnant there still are some antibiotics that they can give safely to pregnant women, you really don't want it to travel up. Increase your fluids in the meantime too. Sorry your having to deal with this. Good luck.
ETA: I need to make a correction to my post I originally wrote the wrong name of the clinic. The correct name is STAT Health and they have locations in Smithtown, Port Jeff, cutchogue and deer park.
