Ovulation question
No. It depends on the length of your cycle and your Luteal Phase.
ETA: Luteal Phase can range from I think 9 days to 16 days.

Re: Ovulation question
Your luteal phase will very rarely change. It may vary by a day each month but it'll never be 9days one month and 16 days the next month.
It is possible to have a shorter/longer cycle but it'll always be the same luteal phase.
For example: *You have a 14 day luteal phase and on average a 28 day cycle. Your luteal phase will be CD15-CD28. Meaning you ovulated on CD14. *This month you have a 25 day cycle. Your luteal phase will be CD12-CD25. Meaning you ovulated on CD11.
I have a 15 day luteal phase and never found out until a used BBT. This will give you the best idea of when you ovulate and how long your luteal phase is.

Re: Ovulation question
Well that makes sense what you are saying and according to FF looks like they have been right. I've been charting for the last 2 cycles and thought maybe FF was being a lil wacky but they predicted AF to come today which was correct. So looks like our BD'ing came a lil on the late side this cycle.
Looks like we will start BD'ing beginning CD 8 this time around. I think we are going to try the "every other day method" this time around.......ugh.....oh well

Re: Ovulation question
I've read that if you count back 14 days from when you get AF thats your ovulation time. If you get AF the same time every month it may be easy to track when you ovulate. Not positive thats correct but I've read that more than once.

That's not true because LP's can last anywhere from 9-16 days. Mine is 11 days.
