Another Crazy
Being that we started TTC this month some people are saying I shouldn't drink wine anymore and some people are saying it's fine till you get your BFP...I called my OBGYN's office and spoke to the nurse and she did suggest stopping and when I asked if I should stay away from eating the foods you're not supposed to eat when PG, she said with fish only eat it once a week! For all of you who are TTC this month are you following the PG guidelines?
I feel like I'm the only one who is always

No. I don't do anything different. Besides, even if you do get pg, you don't share a bloodstream until 6 weeks.

i didn't do any of this until after i found out i was pregnant. i very rarely drink anyway, we have to be on vacation or something in order for me to drink liquor, so this was a non issue for me.
But don't limit or restrict yourself before you even get your BFP - it won't help you get pregnant faster

Nope! I have been drinking wine with dinner whenever we go out saying to DH that I never know when it could be my last haha

 That's what I WAS saying, but DH doesn't think I should drink wine anymore...then I feel bad for wanting to knowing that there is always a possibility that I might be.

absolutely not. in my 2ww i made SURE to drink wine, eat sushi, have my turkey sandwiches etc. in case it was my last chance for a while.
unless your an alcoholic drinking occasional wine is not going to keep you from getting pregnant, and even that doesn't guarantee you infertility it just may make it harder.
live your life and dont add stress on top of the already stressful ttc time

I am also in the 2ww and I hate sushi last Friday. After eating it I realized that maybe I shouldn't have but I researched and I think its fine before you get a BFP. I had my parents 50th birthday on Saturday and I eveb had some wine. I asked a friend who was there that just had a baby a month ago and she said to live normally until the BFP.

I was completly sh$tfaced the night I concieved. Drink up! Don't change anything now. You have 9 months to do that :)
