Where should we go for a weekend getaway?
Veterans weekend is our Anniversary weekend...where can we go to get away? We like wine, breweries if possible ...not more than 4 hours driving, thanks

Why not just go to Greenport? There is a really nice boutique hotel there, I cannot think of the name right now. You are close to the wineries, you can walk to the Greenport Brewery (so tasty!). So much to do in downtown Greenport, great restaurants, TONS of cute shops!

Why not just go to Greenport? There is a really nice boutique hotel there, I cannot think of the name right now. You are close to the wineries, you can walk to the Greenport Brewery (so tasty!). So much to do in downtown Greenport, great restaurants, TONS of cute shops!
we were thinking of going here! Did not know about the brewery just the wineries thank you!
eta: looks like everything is booked that weekend in Greenport

What about the finger lakes region? I'm not going to pretend to know how far of a drive it is but there are wineries there and i'm pretty sure there are breweries (or at least one) as well.

There are tons of B&Bs, did you check them too?
Some but I need to research more
Bear- love the idea of the fingerlakes and so did DH until he realized the closest part is almost 5 hrs from us
