Registering......
We registered once we found out the sex. So around 17 weeks we started and it took me 2 in store visits, and a few edits online to finish. We registered at Babies r us just because of convenience of locations...but I've read buy buy baby has a little bit better edge.

Re: Registering......
We did buy buy baby, and diapers.com
we had a horrible experience with babies r us - they lost our registry.
I had started a registry online probably around 17 weeks with some of the bigger items that I new I wanted. We then went to the store at 21 weeks after finding out the sex and finished it up. I still make edits online all the time.

Re: Registering......
I did around 16 weeks. I HATE BRU. There return policy is terrible and now I am stuck with a ton of stuff that I can not return and it was from my registry. That being said I registered at BRU, BBB, and amazon.

Registering......
We registered at 18-19 weeks and started at BBB. They had great customer service, totally helpful the entire time. I know there aren't a lot of BBBs so we also did a smaller BRU registry as well. I'm not as big of a fan, I personally haven't had any issues with them but have heard stories. I decided to do that regustry at the BRU in Union Square instead of out here on LI. The people there weren't as helpful but by that point I was a pro and didn't need someone walking us around the store.

Re: Registering......
I registered at 20 weeks (when we found out the sex of the baby). My shower is this weekend and I'm 28 weeks so I pretty much had to do it as soon as I found out.
