Anyone have a corpus luteum cyst rupture?
I have a large corpus luteum cyst on my left ovary, which they found during the first sonogram I had since being pregnant. They basically told me that it was large and that they would "monitor" it. I am 15w pregnant now and today I have a constant pain in my lower back on the left side and an occasional sharp pain in the lower left part of my abdomen. I am not spotting at all. I'm wondering if the cyst could be rupturing? It seems too coincidental that the cyst would not be involved and I'm having left-sided pain. It's been going on for about 24 hours now. Not sure what to make of it.

I have had a cyst burst and believe me if it burst you will be in excruciating pain and can't really walk. Even if it did burst they can't really do anything for it since it will dissolve on its own. I would call the dr just to be safe they will prob do an internal us to check it out. My thoughts are with you to feel better... Feel free to fm me I have a lot of experience with ovarian cysts

This is very true. When mine ruptured it was an immediate burst and the pain was crippling. It was one of the most painful r things I've experienced, including labor. Still the doctors could do nothing. Just had to wait for the fluid to be absorbed.
