Did I ruin my chances for tonight

So I had to get an internal sonogram tonight, the dr thought he had seen a cyst. Not even thinking about the lube and condom that they use over the wand. Does anyone know if this ruins my chances for tonight? I am due to ovulate tomorrow/ Friday and I am afraid if there was spermicide or something on the covering or the lube isn't sperm friendly.

I told the tech I was ttc, I am not sure if she would have said anything though.

I had this same problem last cycle!!! I don't know the right answer to give you but when I asked people last month they said it should be ok.

PS: looks like we are cycle twins LOL

Phew! I was so worried! I know if we bd tomorrow, we should still be okay, but I don't want to miss a day! I am hoping since we won't do it for a few hours after, all will be okay!

why would this ruin your chances?!

lube isnt great..but i promise you hundreds of thousands of people have used lube and gotten pregnant..if it was that bad, we'd use it for contraception...not to mention i did a ton of timed intercourse cycles where i went to the RE like every day and they always lube up the wand there... im sure you are fine..

unless the semen is coming out of the wand and into the condom...i think you'll be fine
