Getting the flu shot?
I get the flu shot every fall - to me, having the flu is like being run over by a truck so I would rather be on the safe side.
I am 8 weeks now and my company is offering them next week - just wondering are you ladies planning on getting one?

my doctor recommends getting one while pregnant...however they say to get the thimerosal-free one.
My company is offering the flu shots next week too, but unfortunately they dont have the thimerosal-free one and my HR told me i could not get the regular one (regulations from the flu shot provider they use) so i have to get it at my doctors office.

I've never had one before but my dr. told me to get one. I juts got it today at cvs. Quick, painless, and free...

My job offers it, but not the preservative/thermisol free one. I went to Walgreen's, they had it and I go it there. No appointment, just walk in and go the the pharmacy counter.

I did not have an appointment, I just went. There was a small wait. I was there about 45 min total...

My Dr. highly suggested that I et the Flu shot. I got the preservative free one at Duane Reade about 2 weeks ago. I just called up and told them I was pregnant and they told me to come in the same day for it. Simple and easy!

I got the thimerosal free one at rite aid...just walked in, they billed my insurance and gave me the shot!

My ob gave one to me at one of my regular visits. I'm not sure which version I got (I didn't even know there were different types) but whichever it is, it obviously has my ob's approval!
