Re: peanut butter?
I have heard that peanuts and peanut butter are only a no-no if you have a history of peanut allergies, or if your DH has them.
Is there real wine in that cheese spread, or just flavoring?

Re: peanut butter?
i would skip that cheese and the peanut butter. I have been reading up and they say no peanut butte and only pastuerized cheeses.

Re: peanut butter?
I read that its ok in moderation, unless you have a history of peanut allergies in your family, in which case you're supposed to avoid it completely. I'm a vegetarian so its one of my quick and easy lunch options too. I'm not completely giving it up!

Re: peanut butter?
I would eat them both without even thinking twice. I eat peanut butter all the time. And there's probably such a small amount of alcohol in the cheese that I wouldn't worry about it. Don't make yourself crazy with what you should/shouldn't eat. Just use your own common sense and eat things that are questionable in moderation.

Re: peanut butter?
I literally ate peanut butter everyday during my pregnancy. It was one of the only foods that actually tasted good to me.
DD is almost 2.5 years old and she is fine.

same here. Although they do tell you that you sensitize the baby to peanuts and an allergy. The Dr. I work for kept telling me to eat nuts in moderation....

Re: peanut butter?
Just to say that the majority of cheeses sold in the US are pasturized, so don't worry about eating cheese. You can eat Feta and Mozzerella...maybe be careful with the brie...
eta, go ahead and have a glass of wine every once in a while, here in the UK if we have low iron counts, our midwives tell us to drink a guiness or two!! You can safely have up to 4 units of alcohol a week (not all at once though!)
