2nd RE Visit!!!
I had my 2nd visit at RSOFNY and received happy results! My body is responding to the Follistim!!  YAY! I have 4 small folllicles on my left side nothing on my good. ( my right tube is blocked.. ) They drew blood and are checking my estrogen. I still am staying at 100 for the my injections! They will call me if there is a problem with my blood or if they need to increase my dosage. So far everything looks good. I go back to the West Islip office on Wednesday. I hope I have an even better update. Most likely the IUI will bbe done early next wek or possibly this weekend pending if my body is ready or not. Staying positive...relaxing..and not stressing. Staying optimistic that maybe this month will be my month!! I'll keep you all updated!!!

When your avatar is a pic of your face, I don't think you need to tell anyone what you're wearing for people to know what you look like  Just saying

HA!!!!!! Yes I know!! But I look different now..I cut all my length off and now it's up to my neck..different look for me!!!

I noticed that you said you have 1 blocked tube and follicles growing on the opposite side ovary. I lost one of my tubes due to an ectopic pregnancy. My Dr would always tell me not to stress about having 1 tube because she has seen cases where the good tube picked up eggs from the other ovary. Honestly, it was hard for me to believe. Well, low and behold it happened to me. Dr confirmed ovulation on the side with no tube and that's the month I got pregnant. I think it happens a lot more often than the doctors know about. Good luck to you!!!

My RE did explain that to me too!! It's hard to believe something like that can happen..But you are living prrof! You just never know. Everyone seems to think that this is my month and that it is gonna take one cycle. Hope they are right!! We'll find out in a few weeks!!

That's great news! Best of luck! I found it hard to believe the other tube could pick up the opposite side too. I only have a good left. I'm happy to hear that actually happened to someone!!!
