Can't remember...going in for 2nd OB visit what happens

Is this a sono? I don't think it would be b/c we had one last time but I can't remember from preg #1. Also what is the new ultrascreen test? They asked me if I wanted it when we went in last time and I decline b/c we know we wouldn't terminate no matter what but I'm wondering if it is an add'l sono or ultrasound maybe I should have it just to get another look see at the chickpea

I had a sonogram at my second appt. Definitely have the Ultrascreen, it's another chance to see your baby!

i think it depends on your dr if you get another sono or not. i know my midwives only do the 20 week level II and that's it unless there's something wrong, etc.

as for the ultrascreen it's a sono and i believe bloodwork that screens for down syndrome, etc. we personally refused it because we thought it was unnecessary for us, but it's up to you and your husband whether you want it or not.
