Any IVF Slow Responders Out There?

I'm now officially a slow responder. What a difference 2 years make! 2 years ago when I had just turned 34 I went through my first IVF cycle. It was "textbook." I was 150 of Follistim and Menopur and 5 units of Lupron. Stimmed for 8 days, had 17 eggs retrieved of which 10 fertilized. Got my BFP.

Fast forward 2 years to now at age 36. Got the same protocol, but had only 6 mature eggs and got a BFN. Trying again with a stronger protocol (300 Follistim and Menopur, and Ganerilex) and have been stimming for 14 days! Yes, tonight will my 14th day of stimulation and I have only one large follicle and 6 around 10-13mm. After 14 days, you'd think I'd have more! RE thinks I'll stim for 2 more days to let the smaller ones grow.

Anyone else a slow responder? How long did you stim for? How many eggs? I am dumbfounded at my slow response!

i was told i was a slow responder and i stimmed for 12 days and ended up with 18 eggs but after reading thisi think my doc was wrong

i am a slow and low responder... 750 of Follistim for 3 days and i only had 2 eggs, 675 follistim & lupron for 6 days and had 6... they got 4 eggs only 2 were mature.

i am a slow responder...i stimmed for about 2 weeks had 5 follicles only got 3 eggs and only 2 were mature

I have stimmed for 11-12 days in each of my 4 tries. First time out, they never increased my meds. Second was canceled because of the protocol (not for me), and 3rd & 4th attempts I was on around 300 follistim and 150 menopur the whole time.

I got 9 mature and 7 fertilized the 1st and 4th tries. The second time (a fluke, I think) I got 15 eggs, 11 mature.

I also have low AMH and only 2-3 have ever really been viable for transfer.
