Re: Pain on left side after csection
How long ago was c/s? Mine was 2 days ago & I could have written the same question. I asked the nurse and was told it is probably from the baby. She said the drs pull more on the side of the uterus where the baby's head is & will make those muscles more painful. She agreed the pain would be sharp & come & go.
Not sure if its the same answer for you. Good luck!

Re: Pain on left side after csection
Yes I had this type of pain after my 2nd csec. I also felt like it was burning. My scar ended up opening up at 10 days. The pain and burning lasted for about 4 weeks and slowly got better. With my first I had no pain so I was really shocked how much pain I was in with my second.

I had the same left side pain. they said to me that it could be a stitch that is pulling too tight. I had it last for a few weeks.

This is what i felt too. The Dr's and Nurses told me it's from all the pulling and stretching the dr had to do to get the baby out of that side.
